Holi 22

Holi Celebrations

We recently celebrated Holi with our amazing teams across our seven Dublin stores.

Holi is the most vibrant of all the Hindu festivals and is commonly referred to as the festival of colour. It follows the Hindu Lunar calendar and is typically held in late February or early March every year.

Holi festival marks the beginning of spring after a long winter and celebrates love, new life and good over evil.

Some families hold religious ceremonies, but for many Holi is a time for fun and joy and normally involves lots of dancing, singing, eating and the throwing of coloured powder.

We celebrated the festival in store by giving all teams plain white t-shirts and the most vibrant coloured powder to be used for smearing on each other’s faces and for throwing at each other.
