With exam weather approaching, our chef’s have rustled up a delicious summer dish for June for our chef’s monthly special.
In India, “Chaat” is a term that describes a wide range of savoury snacks that typically feature some sort of fried dough served with ingredients that give it a spicy, tangy, salty or sweet flavour. Chaat was traditionally sold by street vendors in the northern region of India and is now popular throughout South Asia and in most Indian restaurants world-wide.
Our chef’s special for the month of June is the Bombay Pantry Samosa Chaat – Handmade potato masala samosas, topped with fresh mango, chickpeas and pomegranate drizzled with tamarind, mint and yoghurt. Served with a garnish of fresh coriander.
This dish is suitable for vegetarians.
